Twenty-three miles north of Chicago’s Loop, the city of Highland Park tightly hugs beautiful Lake Michigan for nearly five miles. West from the lake, the city limits stretch to Deerfield, with Glencoe to the south and Lake Bluff, Bannockburn, Highwood and Lake Forest to the north.

Highland Park, approximately 12.5 square miles in area, is a lakefront community on the North Shore with many natural amenities, including ravines, lakeshore and trees, as well as lovely homes with distinct architectural and historic character.

The Central Business District has specialty shops, boutiques and national stores that offer personal service and a unique selection of merchandise. In addition, shoppers have access to eight other diverse business districts.
