KIDS, RIGS, & HEROES!

The Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is proudly hosting a fun, new, family event, during the annual Sidewalk Sale. It’s KIDS, RIGS & HEROES!

The Highland Park Police Department, Highland Park Fire Department, Highland Park Department of Public Works, the Marines and more will have vehicles for the children to explore and personnel onsite to meet and greet the children. Check out a Fire Truck, Police Cruiser, Police Ambulance, Construction Vehicle and more! Other activities include - a K9 demonstration - see hero dogs in action! Tattoo artist and magician!

“This is a great opportunity for our children to meet and talk with some of the everyday heroes in our community. The men and women who keep us safe daily, work to keep our community running smoothly, and serve and protect our country – they are all heroes,” says Ginny Glasner, former Chamber President & CEO. She added, “Who can resist a cool Fire Engine or Humvee?”
