Highland Park is home for more than 30,000 residents, diverse in its population and abundant in its education. One of the many qualities that make Highland Park unique is its diversity. It has affordable housing initiatives and an ample supply of both single-family and multi-family residences.

At the southern end of the city, on more than 36 acres of beautifully landscaped and wooded land, lies Ravinia Festival. This world-class, year-round venue for the performing arts has been attracting music-lovers from throughout Chicagoland and around the world since 1899.  It is the summer home to the world-renowned Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
